i am Steve Weyman from Bristol England and been playing guitar since I was 9 years of age and doing paid gigs in bands from age 14 playing covers and originals. I am a bit older ( quite a bit older now ! I am not gigging at the moment . I am teaching guitar and concentrating more on writing and recording in m y little home studio. Don't write in a particular style, it comes out how it comes out !

I have this album! "Stealers Wheel" also a favorite of mine. Great work, vocal, and skills here, capturing the magnificent Gerry Rafferty.

Great rendition Steve - capturing the spirit and that wonderful triplet shuffle that propels this tune. Great work on the keys too - not just the synths but that great Rhodes as well. Top stuff!

You really are progressing on your work on the keys. I always joked my brother could play a toilet seat and think you are in that class. Production and performance are excellent as well as vocals. As mentioned lots happening musically on this track. I was expecting baker street or stuck in the middle. But this is a great selection.

Thanks for doing this song, I've been waiting to hear you cover Gerry Rafferty, and what a fantastic job!! Love the way you've captured the soulful vibe, it's a very distinctive sound & you've nailed it. Superb job on the vocals, guitar & synth. There were a lot of musicians on the original, so this cover is quite an achievement!
