Solo Artist, acoustic!
I am a songwriter, guitar player, recording artist and promoter of the Old Blues Masters such as, Rev. Gary Davis, Blind Willie McTell, Robert Johnson, Lonnie Johnson, etc. through my music. My Myspace page is mickmartinguitar and my YouTube search is mick martin. I have 2 cuts off of my CD/DVD on the YouTube video and a newly recorded song entitled, "Josh Feels Good Tonight" on my Myspace account (mickmartinguitar). The words were written by my friend Rick Malis and I wrote the music and recorded the song. "Josh Feels Good Tonight" is a song about the famous baseball player Josh Gibson (catcher). Josh Gibson was one of the greatest baseball players of the sport and played for the Homestead Grays, Negro League. His nickname was , "The Black Babe Ruth". When Josh stepped up to the plate to bat, he would yell, "Josh Feels Good Tonight" and then proceed to hit a home run. Please read about Josh Gibson on Wikipedia.

Lyrics
Josh Feels Good Tonight When I moved to Pittsburgh I played ball night and day When I moved to Pittsburgh baseball night and day Now I’m the catching for the mighty Homestead Grays I hit so many moonshots they call me the black Babe Ruth I hit so many moonshots they call me the black Babe Ruth I just have to laugh and say man ain’t that the truth You know Josh feels good Josh feels all right You know Josh feels good Josh feels all right Josh feels good Yeah Josh feels good tonight When I get in a tight spot I flip up my ball cap When I get in a tight spot I flip up my ball cap I let the pitcher knows he in for a real big scrap Satchel Paige said hey Josh come on over here Satchel Paige said hey Josh come on over here It’s ok to look back just as long as you don’t stare Chorus Popeye eats spinach I drink Iron City beer Popeye eats spinach I drink Iron City beer Helps me smack that horsehide way out of here I’ve hit ‘em out of Wrigley I’ve hit ‘em out the Polo Grounds I’ve hit ‘em out of Wrigley I’ve hit ‘em out the Polo Grounds I hit ‘em so high the baseball never come back down Chorus In the states we’re careful everywhere we go In the states we’re careful everywhere we go But they treat us like kings down south in Mexico Johnson, Leonard, best who ever played this game Charleston, Bell the best who ever played this game Maybe someday they’ll let us in the Hall of Fame Chorus
